These Magazines function great. They give your Ruger 10/22 an awesome look. I''ve owned one of these magazines for 2 years, I''ve run probably a thousand rounds through it with no problems from the magazine.

Just purchased a Promag 50 rnd drum for a 10/22, Loaded fine, secured in gun fine, 2nd round was a jam, cleared it and never looked back. Works great. Just ordered another one. Most reviews i read , guys hated it. But I love it...... Hope the next one works too....

When I bought my Ruger Charger, I decided to order up a ProMag 50 round mag at the same time. The ProMag RUG-A14 functioned as flawlessly as the Charger, and I''ve put many, many rounds through both! The ProMag RUG-A14 is an excellent buy!

ProMag 50 round drum mag

ProMag missed the boat with this mag. Jams every 5-10 shots. Feed lips are canted downward, almost 30 degrees off compared to the Ruger factory mags. I think Promag needs to replace the feed lips with ones that work like the factory Ruger mags, then it might be worth buying. I have tried this mag with 4 different 10-22''s ]one full auto[ and they all jam.
Try a Black Dog 50 round drum. Even with plastic feed lips, they work a lot better than the ProMags.
